Which bed should I choose?
It depends on how your cat sleeps. The Donut Bed suits cats who sprawl out in the open. The Cloud Sofa is for cats who like a wall behind them and a clear view of the room. The Bolster Bed is for tight curlers who want something to rest a chin on. The Cave Bed is for the ones who disappear after dinner. Each is named for the hour a cat tends to claim it.

Will it fit my cat?
Every product page lists the bed's dimensions and a guide to the cat size it suits. As a rule, the Donut Bed is best for small to medium cats, while the Cloud Sofa, Bolster Bed and Cave Bed suit most cats up to around 7 kg. If your cat likes to stretch out rather than curl, size up.

How do I wash it?
Most of the range is machine washable, with removable covers on the Cloud Sofa and Cave Bed. The Donut Bed is spot-clean only. Each product page has the full care instructions for that bed.

What if my cat ignores the new bed at first?
Cats are suspicious of new things, so give it a week or two. Put the bed where your cat already likes to sleep, and add a blanket or worn t-shirt so it smells familiar. Most cats come around once the bed stops being new. Some make you wait purely on principle.

How does shipping work?
Shipping is free on every order, Australia-wide, with no minimum spend. Orders reach metro areas in about 7 to 12 business days and regional areas in 10 to 20, tracked from dispatch to door. We don't ship internationally yet.

Can I return a bed?
We don't accept change-of-mind returns, so it's worth choosing carefully. If a bed arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, email hello@halfpastfur.com.au within 7 days and we'll arrange a replacement, store credit or refund. Australian Consumer Law applies in full. We're real people and usually reply within 1 to 2 business days.
